Hirander has extensive electronic trading and FinTech expertise spanning 25 years, with successful syndication to investors and substantial exits.

He is Co-Founder of GMEX Group and one of the Top 10 influential business leaders of blockchain technology in the All Party Parliamentary Group 2018 ans 2021 reports on the UK Blockchain industry. He is also featured on LATTICE80’s Top 100 influencer list for the UN Sustainable Developments Goal agenda for pioneering blockchain technology solutions. He is featured in The Financial Technologist 2019 list of the 50 most game changing founders of FinTech companies. He is also the Chairman of Pyctor.

Previously he was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chi-X Europe Limited and was instrumental in taking the company from concept to successful launch. At the time of his departure in February 2010, Chi-X Europe was the second largest equities trading venue in Europe, just behind the LSE Group and was subsequently sold to Bats Global Markets (now part of CBOE Global Markets) for $365M.

Tony is also Managing Director of GMEX Innovation Limited, created by the MBO of the technology team at PLUS Markets. Tony joined PLUS as CTO in 2010, and led their strategic initiative to realign the technology team and build a ‘Next Generation’ stock exchange. Prior to this, in 2007 as CTO he created and launched LiquidityHub a Fixed Income platform to serve the Interest Rate Swaps market. As Business Solutions Director at Evolution Consulting (2000-2007), he built a successful financial services consultancy with over 100 staff and their own software product.

Richard has more than 20 years experience in markets, markets technology and the evolution of market structure gained from holding a range of senior positions at leading international trading venues. Richard has provided the business leadership and vision for the development of the cash equity market, trading products, and cash and derivatives trading platforms at two of the world’s top 10 exchanges.

Nik has been delivering enterprise systems in Java for almost 20 years with the last 5 years specialising in low latency trading venues. Nik is now responsible for systems development of the ForumMatch suite. Prior to GMEX, Nik worked as a consultant in a variety of projects; leading teams of up to 50 developers to successfully deliver solutions across exchanges, investment management, retail banking and telecoms.

Emmanuel has spent over 25 years in the Financial Markets world. After heading the Capital Market business unit at Atos Group, offering technology and services to trading rooms and equity brokerage firms, he led the international sales of AtosEuronext, the product suite of which entailed trading, clearing & settlement systems. He also spent more than 7 years at LCH.Clearnet.

Adam is responsible for ensuring that the systems GMEX delivers to clients are fully available, proactively monitored and that any issues that arise are quickly resolved. Technical teams based in London and Mauritius monitor the systems using the latest system tools and feed back any lessons learned into the development life-cycle.

Tony is responsible for managing Networking & Infrastructure, Quality & Testing and Project Management of all client projects, ensuring delivery is completed according to plan, on time & in budget. Tony is also responsible for determining much of the Technology employed by GMEX and has brought about significant change in arranging the successful Implementation of BCP & DR processes & procedures.
