We celebrated our 10th birthday and over a decade of blockchain at law firm CMS on Thursday 8th September with an evening of blockchain discussions, conversation and networking. We organised two panels for a thought-provoking symposium about digital assets and ESG.
The first panel, moderated by our very own Chairman and CEO, Hirander Misra, focused on how digital assets infrastructure and services need to evolve to facilitate increasing institutional and corporate involvement. Alexey Demyanov, Managing Director at BofA Securities, Nadine Teychenne, Global Head, Digital Assets, Securities Services at Citi, and Luc Froehlich, Global Head of Digital Assets Solutions at Fidelity International, were featured guests on this panel.
The topic for the second panel was market trends in digital ESG and whether the use of blockchain can both enable sustainability initiatives and be green. This panel was moderated by Helen Disney, Director of The Realization Group and featured Charles Kerrigan, Partner at CMS, Nicolas Steiner, Partner – Strategic Development at Scrypt Digital, and Brendan Bradley, author of ESG Investing for Dummies.
Overall, it was a successful event; we all had a wonderful time networking over drinks with canapés, meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends.
